Craig is a seasoned tax attorney with a proven record of successfully representing taxpayers before federal, state and local taxing authorities. His broad range of experience includes the successful representation of a small business owner in a collection dispute to supporting an international corporation in navigating through the tax and legal ramifications stemming from a very large internal embezzlement. Additionally, Craig has represented multiple taxpayers in a variety of engagements and has always had a good working relationship with officials from the Internal Revenue Service and various state taxing authorities. A few of Craig’s tax related successes include obtaining a complete abatement of a penalty and interest assessment totaling more than one million dollars, and negotiating a reasonable settlement arrangement with the IRS for a construction business that had an overdue, and recurring employment tax issue.
Craig is a member of the State Bars of Oklahoma and Texas. He is also admitted to practice before all of the federal courts in Oklahoma, the Tenth Circuit Court of Appeals, and the United States Tax Court. Craig is a member of the American Bar Association and the ABA Sections of Taxation and Low Income Taxpayers. He served as a contributing member of the ABA’s comment submission team regarding payment of tax liabilities in installments.
Craig earned an LL.M. in Taxation in 2005 from the University of Florida. He earned his J.D., with honors, in 2004 from the University of Arkansas. While in law school, Craig served as a member of the Arkansas Law Review. He earned his B.S. in Marketing from Oklahoma State University in 2001.
